Ed Sheeran 11.19.2016

The Ed Sheeran concert I went to is easily one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I went to the concert with one of my closest friends at the time, Julia, and we had an absolute ball. We planned matching outfits, put on face makeup, and jammed out to the Divide album the entire ride into the city. We were both, and still are, die-hard Ed Sheeran fans so this show was something we had been counting down for. Ed Sheeran makes his concerts so personal which is part of what makes them so special. Ed is the only person on stage, no band, no backup dancers, no props, just Ed Sheeran and his guitar. I loved that the entire time I was there, even though our seats were high up, I felt as though Ed was singing directly to me. All of Ed Sheeran’s songs tell a story which is my favorite thing about him and his music. Ed’s music doesn’t follow the typical pop music formula. All of his songs connect directly to him and the life he’s lived. Through listening to him, and watching him perform, I feel as though I was able to get to know him.
